Wudang Sword (Jian)

Wudang Sword (Jian) art is a unique system, one of the inherent styles of the Wudang Mountains. It combines the gentle, harmonious movements of the sword with sharp, targeted lines. The foundations of this art lie in the use of the sword and wrist, as well as in the control of the body, especially when it is dynamic.

The 13 principles of the sword are synthesized with the "5 principles of body dynamics," which originate from the ancient Daoist world of thought, creating a comprehensive practice/application system comprised of mystical and fluid movements. The first section of the Wudang Sword System by İsmet Himmet teaches the most fundamental swordsmanship skills and the first set of the 13 Principles.

Practices with the sword are also a journey into your inner self and soul. It is a journey of self-discovery through the unique Wudang Sword and Meditation practice. Besides being a unique weapon used only by legendary warriors in ancient times, the sword is also a tool for cutting and removing negative energies from your soul and surroundings.

Daily practice with the sword allows the practitioner to clarify their mind, set clear and confident goals, learn to distinguish right from wrong, and equip them with the ability to make unparalleled decisions in the most crucial situations.

The sword is much more than a weapon for fighting.

"Empty your mind, become formless. Formless, like water."
